EMDR Early Intervention, EEI,

EEI TEP Suites

EMDR EEI TEP suites are three protocols that are used internationally to address recent traumatic episodes to prevent and/or treat PTSD. R-TEP and G-TEP are based on based on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. TEP suites are designed to complement the natural recovery process and to address the trauma related blocks that may have been stored over a period of time during which you have had little time for recovery and rest to process things between shifts and exposures.

R-TEP, Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol assists individuals in processing traumas 1:1 with a trained clinician.

G-TEP, Group Traumatic Episode Protocol, is an upscaled adaptation of R-TEP where groups of people work on their traumas at once. Details of the trauma are not discussed so people can be in the same group to address different traumas.   You meet in a group of people with one leader and several assistant trained clinicians.

G-REP, Group Resource Enhancement Protocol is utilized when you are too overwhelmed to process events. G-REP can be repeated until you are ready for either R-TEP, G-TEP or possible EMDR standard protocol in the case of C-PTSD

The R-TEP employs an adapted eight–phase structure, with some modifications for application to early EMDR intervention.
